Websites And Cooking Contests

from:

Cooking contests are a great way to enjoy food and the spirit of competition at the same time. Contests range from entering an individuals favorite recipe for a chance to win a prize to actual cooking to win the prize. Each website offers a myriad of choices of contests to enter depending on an individuals desires.

Cooking Contest Central is a website dedicated to finding cooking contests. These contests include recipe competitions as well. The subscription fee for joining Cooking Contest Central is $25 a year. To its members they offer cooking contest alerts, which send emails to its subscribers two to four times a month about upcoming contest. They also offer a deadline contest list that gives subscribers access to all the current contests including one for professionals and even ones for kids. The listing information lists basic information about the contest deadline information and links to find out more information. Cooking Contest Central offers a forum for its members to communicate and offer support while competing in these contests.

Food Reference offers a dedicated web page to cooking contests. On this page it offers for free all current contests with a little blurb about each one and the date by which the contestant needs to enter. Although most of the contests listed are for entering recipes, there are a few listings for cooking contests, having a block party, getting an individuals family to eat more fruits and vegetables, and even one to make a commercial. There is a contest listed under Food Reference for any and all talents with these listings.

Contest Cook offers individuals a website for finding cooking contests. There is a subscription fee of $25 a year fee. To its members they offer contests lists that give details, deadline dates, prize lists, and link to the official rules. Their list gives deadline contests, ongoing contests, professional contests, state fairs, varied contests, and archives. They offer message boards to chat with other members, and even chat with past winners of competitions. They have a winning recipes page so individuals can view what judges are looking for in certain contests. In the forms section individuals can keep their recipes organized for submitting to contests. Contest cook will keep its members updated as well as offer tips to compete.

Proof positive offers free cooking contest listings. There are two sections one of ongoing contest lists, and one of deadline contests. New contests are added often. They give contest details, deadline information, prize information, and links to more information about the contest.
