Ancient Indian Recipe and Chicken Curry Recipe
Old Recipe from India: Mori Dal
Cooking indian food can be lots of fun.
This recipe is to be made with Prawn Patia, according to Christie Daruwalla (author and creator of the recipe). She devised it after poring over her mother-in-law’s recipes and some Parsi cookbooks.
Then she took what she knew about cooking, and made her own version of Mori Dal. It uses turmeric, jalapeno and coconut oil – to see the rest of the ingredients, you need to visit her special blog . There are many good recipes there.
It serves six (6), has 7 grams of Protein, 1 gram of fat, and 28 grams of Carbs. It’s 131 calories. If you like spicy, nutritious food you’ll probably like this. Give it a go !
Next, I would like to share a chicken coconut curry recipe with you. It is rated 4 of 5 stars, and it uses 6 tablespoons of curry – so be forewarned. It involves celery, peas, carrot, yellow onion, coconut oil (canola can be substituted), garlic and “reduced sodium” broth.
If you are one who appreciates the taste of curry and like to use recipes with reduced sodium then this may be for you. It Makes: 6 servings
*Note: This recipe also uses Yukon Gold potatoes and takes 50 minutes of preparation time. SEE FULL Recipe Here
