Betty’s Olive Garden Black Tie Mousse Cake

Just want to share a great, yet somewhat time consuming copycat recipe (Olive Garden’s Black Tie Mousse cake)..

Here’s an 18 minute video – you can skip the first minute & 43 seconds into it. You’ll initially make a devils food cake (10 Inch pan); then you’ll use semi-sweet choc. chips (4 oz) and 4 ounces of cream cheese for the SECOND Layer, & you will melt this on the stove. Let it cool. Then, you’ll be working w/ Gelatin & cold water.

Next you’ll whip up some real whipping cream (to stiff peaks – but not TOO stiff). Once completed, you’ll be adding yr gelatin mixture into the whipped cream – yet you HAVE to make sure it’s sufficiently cooled off.

At 4 min. 43 sec. into video, it gets interesting. You see, Betty begins to add her chocolate mixture into the whipping crm mixture.
